SCHOOL PROGRAM

Academic Program Middle
/  ACADEMICS

Students will attend the homeschool program twice a week for two hours each day.  In the first daily session, students will receive instructions in Language Arts.  The language arts studies  include reading, grammar, spelling , vocabulary and handwriting.  Students in grades kindergarten through second language arts instuction will also include phonics. The second daily session, students will receive instructions in math.  The math class coponents  include math drills(computation), lesson instructions math concepts and problem solving.  During each session, students will be assigned home assignments to complete. The home assignments give students the opportunity to practice skills for mastery.

 

Social Studies and Science classes will be taught by parents.  Suggestions for a curriculum can be provided.

Foreign Language

French is the foreign language of choice.

 

 

Special Topics

Special Topics classes will be offered based on the needs of the students, and depends on the number of students who sign up for a special topics class.

Written Expression (Writing)

The written expression classes will be offered when there are at least six students who are interested in signing up for the class.​
